Amsterdam Pride moves forward after court clears noise limits and ticket giveaway launched

A Dutch court in Amsterdam rejected a lawsuit by local residents who sought to ban Pride festivities at the Homomonument over noise concerns. The judge ruled that there was no urgent need to intervene and that the existing permit, which allows a maximum of 95 decibels, remains valid. Organisers said they will adhere to the limit while maintaining the impact of the program.

Separately, a promotional campaign offers free tickets to a SkyDeck venue on the night before the Canal Parade. Winners receive access to a private bar, food, and a view of the crowd from the NH Collection Flower Market Hotel’s SkyDeck, enhancing the celebration of Amsterdam Pride.
