Amsterdam Flames secure victories in European T20 Premier League

The Amsterdam Flames secured a victory against the Rotterdam Dockers in the European T20 Premier League (ETPL) held at the Voorburg Cricket Club in the Netherlands. Bas de Leede was named Player of the Match after scoring an unbeaten 69 runs, forming an undefeated 113-run partnership for the third wicket with Tim David, who scored 68 not out.

In a separate ETPL contest, the Amsterdam Flames also defeated the Dublin Guardians by nine runs. After posting a total of 169/7, the Flames defended their score against a chase led by James Vince, who scored 73 runs. The win moved the Flames into third place on the league standings.

The ETPL tournament is scheduled to resume on September 9 in Malahide, Ireland, where thirteen pool matches will determine the qualifiers for the final.
