Amsterdam rally sees thousands gather in support of Israel

Thousands of people gathered at Dam Square in Amsterdam on a Thursday evening to demonstrate support for Israel. The rally, which included many Christian participants, proceeded despite rain and wind.

Israeli Ambassador Zvi Vapni addressed the attendees via a video message, describing the event as a way to counter what he termed a “distorted version of reality” spread by the media and antisemitic agendas within parliament. He characterized the gathering as a message of “truth over lies” and “courage over fear.” The Israeli embassy in the Netherlands described the demonstration as “heartwarming” and expressed gratitude to the participants on behalf of the state of Israel.
