Amsterdam stabbing incident livestreamed on TikTok
A violent confrontation near Amsterdam Centraal Station on Saturday evening resulted in three men suffering stab wounds. The incident, which occurred around 7:30 PM on De Ruijterkade, was captured and broadcast live on TikTok.
The suspect, allegedly a fitness creator known as ‘Superhuman Unchained’, was filmed in an escalating argument with a group of men before the situation turned physical. Footage shows the streamer telling the group not to touch him before a stabbing motion was made.
Dutch police have arrested a 43-year-old man from Naarden in connection with the incident, though they have not officially confirmed if he is the individual behind the TikTok account. Four people were injured in total, including the suspect; all victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries and were able to be discharged from the hospital. Police are currently using the circulating social media footage as part of their investigation.
