Amsterdam urban development projects commence in Zuidoost and Kenniskwartier

Construction has begun on the Eleven Square project in Amsterdam-Zuidoost. Located near AFAS Live and the Johan Cruijff ArenA, the development will feature 1,120 homes, approximately 40,000 square meters of office space, and various commercial and cultural facilities. A key component is the 145-meter-high residential tower, Eleven Home, which will include 933 rental units acquired by Bouwinvest.

In a separate development, a tender has been launched for plot 2J in the Kenniskwartier district. This project involves two U-shaped buildings with a maximum gross floor area of 44,204 square meters. The plan includes 150 social rental homes to be managed by housing association Lieven De Key, alongside 28,000 to 30,000 square meters of office space. The development aims to integrate social, commercial, and community facilities, focusing on sustainability and energy exchange between residential and professional spaces.
