Amundi acquires 9.9% stake in ICG for 620 million euros

Amundi has finalized its acquisition of a 9.9% stake in ICG, a London-listed international alternative investment manager. The total investment is valued at approximately 620 million euros, fulfilling a strategic partnership originally announced in November 2025.

The agreement includes a ten-year commercial arrangement. Under this partnership, Amundi will serve as the exclusive global distributor for ICG’s ‘evergreen’ products and other selected instruments within the wealth management and private banking channels. Conversely, ICG will act as the exclusive provider of these specific products for Amundi’s distribution network.

Both companies plan to co-develop new products tailored for wealth investors. The first collaborative offering, an evergreen fund focused on private equity secondaries, is expected to launch in the coming weeks. Amundi CEO Valérie Baudson stated that the partnership is a significant step in expanding the firm’s private markets offering by leveraging ICG’s expertise and Amundi’s global reach.
