Amusement parks announce 2026 Halloween seasonal events

Various amusement and theme parks are preparing for the 2026 Halloween season with diverse offerings ranging from family-friendly activities to intense horror experiences.

Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana, is expanding its Happy Halloween Weekends. The event features a 12-acre Dino Corn Maze Adventure with animatronic dinosaurs, seasonal food, and a drone show titled ‘Dinos Soar in the Sky’ on Saturday nights. The park has extended operating hours for select October dates.

Universal Studios Hollywood is hosting Halloween Horror Nights, featuring themed food and beverages inspired by franchises such as ‘Stranger Things 5’, ‘Hellraiser’, and ‘Evil Dead’. The event includes themed menu items available at various venues across the Upper and Lower Lots, as well as Universal CityWalk Hollywood.

Hersheypark in Pennsylvania is celebrating its fifth year of Dark Nights. The event includes five haunted houses—such as ‘Kill ’N Fill Garage’ and ‘Haunted Coal Mine’—and five scare zones. Admission to these attractions is included with a Hersheypark Halloween ticket or 2026 Season Pass.
