Amusement parks launch seasonal horror-themed attractions
Various amusement parks are launching seasonal horror-themed attractions for October.
In Miami, the House of Horror Haunted Carnival at Tropical Park is celebrating its 25th season with a special series called ‘Noches de Reparto’. This program features Cuban music and dance, including performances by artists such as Gente de Zona, Dany Ome, Kevincito El 13, and L Kimii, in collaboration with Micho Valdés’s dance academy. The event includes musical acts, DJ sessions, and access to various haunted houses and carnival rides. A dedicated area, House of Little Horrors, has also been established for children.
In Costa Rica, Parque Diversiones has debuted ‘Pabellón Cero’ as part of its ‘Octubre Encantado’ festivities. This immersive horror experience follows a narrative involving a mysterious agent affecting a water system and a containment zone created by the fictional PDD Corporation. The attraction emphasizes darkness and silence, as the story dictates that light affects the entities within the experience.
