Amy Hunt wins Diamond League silver as Adeleke prepares for Brescia

At the Diamond League meet in Lausanne, British sprinter Amy Hunt secured a silver medal in the 200m with a time of 22.32 seconds. Hunt finished narrowly ahead of Nigeria’s Favour Ofili in a race won by American Kayla White. The event also saw Audrey Werro win the women’s 800m in 1:55.33, setting a new meeting record.

In upcoming competition, Irish sprinter Rhasidat Adeleke is scheduled to compete in the 100m at the Grand Prix Brescia in Italy on August 30. Adeleke, the European 200m silver medallist, will join Amy Hunt and other international athletes in the field as she continues to focus on shorter distances.
