Amy Robach reportedly declines jobs to work with fiancé T. J. Holmes

Former “GMA” co-anchors Amy Robach and T. J. Holmes are reportedly prioritizing their relationship over individual broadcasting opportunities. Reports suggest Robach has declined several job offers because they did not include her fiancé, T. J. Holmes, in the arrangement.

Robach was reportedly a frontrunner to replace Deborah Norville as an anchor on “Inside Edition” following Norville’s departure in 2025. However, the position was ultimately filled by Eva Pilgrim, a former colleague from ABC News. Insiders claim Robach was seeking roles that would allow her to work alongside Holmes, as they have done previously.

The couple, who became public figures following a highly publicized affair and subsequent departure from ABC, recently applied for a marriage license in Washington County, Arkansas. This filing follows their engagement announcement in October 2025.
