Amy Schumer to star in and produce comedy ‘Best Divorce Ever’
Comedian and actress Amy Schumer is set to star in and produce a new comedy film titled ‘Best Divorce Ever’. Written and directed by Sean Mullin, the movie follows a couple, Clarissa and Franklin, who decide to end their 20-year marriage while attempting to maintain their relationship.
The plot centers on their efforts to achieve an amicable separation through an ‘Untying the Knot’ party and ‘conscious uncoupling’, though their plans are complicated by disastrous dates and family dynamics. Schumer will produce the project alongside Matthew Lee Miller and Natalie Metzger for Vanishing Angle.
Concourse Media and its sister company, Archetype Media Finance, are handling the financing. Concourse Media plans to launch worldwide sales for the film in Toronto next month.
