Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back to Black’ 20th anniversary commemorated in London and Santiago

London and Santiago are hosting commemorative events to mark the 20th anniversary of Amy Winehouse’s seminal album, ‘Back to Black’. Released in 2006, the record became a cornerstone of British music, blending soul, jazz, and R&B.

In London, a special celebration will take place on October 21 at the Roundhouse in Camden, featuring musicians and collaborators directly involved in the original production of the album.

In Santiago, Chile, the commemoration is scheduled for November 5 at the Teatro CA660 of Fundación CorpArtes. The performance will be led by Chilean singer Francia Valdés, known for her interpretations of Winehouse’s repertoire. Valdés aims to convey the emotional depth and honesty present in the original recordings.
