Amy Winehouse ‘Back to Black’ to receive 20th anniversary reissue

Universal Music and Island Records have announced a special 20th-anniversary reissue of Amy Winehouse’s seminal album, ‘Back to Black’, scheduled for release on October 23, 2026. The commemorative collection will be available in various formats, including 3LP clear vinyl, 3CD editions, and digital deluxe versions.

The reissue features significant archival material, including four previously unreleased demos and rare B-sides. A major highlight is the inclusion of a full live performance recorded at the Paradiso in Amsterdam on February 8, 2007, during the ‘Back to Black’ tour, which has not been previously released in its entirety on vinyl or streaming platforms.

Additional content includes new liner notes from producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, as well as unseen photographs by Mischa Richter and Alex Lake. Some physical editions will also feature alternative cover art and handwritten lyrics from the artist’s archives. The original album, released in 2006, remains one of the most successful works of its era, having sold over 25 million copies worldwide and earned Winehouse five Grammy Awards.
