Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back to Black’ to receive 20th anniversary reissue
To commemorate its 20th anniversary, Amy Winehouse’s iconic album ‘Back to Black’ will be reissued on October 23, 2026. The special edition, titled ‘Back to Black 20’, will be released as a triple CD set and in various vinyl formats, including a deluxe three-LP transparent version and an exclusive Zoetrope image disc.
The reissue will feature the original album alongside four previously unreleased demos, rare B-sides, and alternative versions of tracks such as ‘Rehab’ and ‘Some Unholy War’. It also includes a complete recording of Winehouse’s February 8, 2007, concert at Paradiso in Amsterdam, featuring 14 songs.
New editorial and visual elements will accompany the release, including handwritten lyrics by Winehouse and unseen photographs by Mischa Richter and Alex Lake. The collection will also feature new commentary from producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi. Originally released in October 2006, ‘Back to Black’ was Winehouse’s second and final studio album, earning five Grammy Awards and achieving multi-platinum status worldwide.
