Amyza Aznan's husband in critical condition

Malaysian actress Amyza Aznan is facing a severe family health crisis. Her husband, Khairil Izhar Mohd Nazir, 51, has been placed in a medically induced coma at Hospital Kuala Lumpur due to high blood pressure and fluid in his lungs. His condition is reported as critical but stable.

The family is also managing the health of their son, Adrian Adam, 18, who is currently battling bone cancer. This follows the recent passing of their eldest son, Andre Mikhail, who died from stage three lung cancer in February.

In response to these challenges, Amyza has decided to participate in the Kilauan Emas Selebriti 2026 program. She stated that the decision is a personal attempt to find strength and rebuild positivity amidst her grief, noting that her son Adrian encouraged her to join to help regain her energy.
