Amzy unveils double albums via mini-train in Ouagadougou

Burkinabè artist Amzy unveiled his two new albums, ‘LE MONDE’ and ‘ET NOUS’, during an unconventional press event in Ouagadougou on August 27, 2026. To break traditional presentation codes, the artist hosted an itinerant press conference aboard a mini-train traveling through the streets of the capital.

The mini-train used for the event was designed and manufactured by a local Burkinabè artisan, a choice intended to highlight national craftsmanship and promote local tourism. Each of the two new projects contains ten tracks, featuring collaborations with various artists.

Amzy, a prominent figure in the Burkinabè music scene known for blending rap, afro, and urban influences, has been active since 2009. His previous works include the albums ‘INSURRECTION’, ‘MA MISSION’, and ‘LIBRE’.
