AN Brescia defeats C.C. Ortigia 1928 15-9 in Serie A1 water polo

AN Brescia secured a decisive 15-9 victory against C.C. Ortigia 1928 in a Serie A1 water polo match held at the Mompiano Natatorium. Brescia established control early in the game, leading 5-2 and 6-2 in the first two quarters. De Simone led the offensive effort for Brescia with six goals.

Despite a late attempt by Ortigia to close the gap with two goals in the final period, the deficit proved insurmountable. Ortigia coach Hrvoje Koljanin noted that his young squad is not yet at the level of a team like Brescia, stating that the defeat should serve as a lesson in confidence and growth.

The match was also marked by technical issues with AN Brescia’s YouTube channel, which prevented the live stream from being broadcast to fans throughout the duration of the game.
