An Giang accelerates digital transformation and data management
An Giang province is intensifying efforts to resolve bottlenecks in digital transformation and infrastructure to meet the objectives of Resolution 57-NQ/TW. Following the completion of 170 tasks in the first nine months of 2026, provincial leaders have emphasized the need to convert completed tasks into practical, usable products that provide real value to citizens and businesses.
To support this transition, the An Giang Provincial People's Committee has launched a 45-day intensive campaign running from October 2 to November 16. This initiative focuses on reviewing and cleaning data, developing digital citizenship, and addressing technical hurdles in information systems, connectivity, and hardware, particularly at the commune level.
Key priorities include standardizing specialized databases in sectors such as land, justice, health, and education, as well as expanding the integration of digital utilities through the VNeID platform. Provincial Chairman Ho Van Mung has directed heads of departments and local authorities to ensure data accuracy and connectivity to improve public services and administrative procedures.
