An Giang Union of Literature and Arts elects Phan Thanh Vu as President

Phan Thanh Vu has been appointed President of the newly unified Union of Literature and Arts Associations of An Giang province. The reorganization follows a merger between the Kiên Giang and An Giang provincial associations in 2025.

The new organization operates with a streamlined structure consisting of two professional departments and eight specialized sub-associations covering music, theater, cinema, photography, fine arts, literature, folk arts, and dance. The union currently comprises 848 members, including 177 members belonging to central-level associations.

For the 2026-2031 term, the association aims to innovate creative thinking and improve work quality. Planned objectives include organizing between six and eight provincial-level competitions, eight to ten exhibitions, and conducting several professional training workshops and creative camps.
