An Giang implements ‘green lane’ for APEC 2027 projects

The An Giang Provincial Party Committee has issued a directive to implement a ‘green lane’ mechanism to expedite preparations for the 27th APEC Summit and related activities scheduled for 2027 in the Phu Quoc special zone.

Under this directive, signed by Provincial Party Secretary Le Quang Tung, all documents, procedures, and administrative tasks related to the investment, preparation, and construction of APEC-related projects must be processed rapidly. Specifically, priority tasks must be received and handled within a maximum of one working day.

The directive emphasizes strict adherence to legal frameworks to prevent corruption, waste, or interest group activities. It also mandates that the Phu Quoc special zone administration accelerate compensation, support, and resettlement processes to ensure site clearance meets project timelines. Authorities are instructed to hold leaders and responsible individuals accountable for any subjective delays in administrative procedures.
