An Giang land unlocking: 1,500 hectares cleared via court rulings
Court activities in An Giang province have helped unlock nearly 1,500 hectares of land, with an estimated value of approximately 21,000 billion VND. This progress stems from resolving disputes, administrative litigation, and addressing obstacles in compensation and resettlement.
Between October 2023 and June 2026, various levels of the An Giang provincial court system handled over 7,600 land-related cases, with administrative cases accounting for 82% of the total. These legal actions have also established the legal land use rights for more than 5,000 citizens.
Despite these gains, officials noted that significant bottlenecks remain regarding land records, origins, and data. Addressing these issues is considered vital for driving socio-economic growth in the 2026-2030 period.
