An Giang launches 80-day military emulation campaign

The An Giang provincial armed forces have launched an 80-day emulation campaign titled “80 days of decisive emulation - continuing the heroic song,” running from October 5 to December 25, 2026. The initiative aims to boost morale, self-reliance, and creativity among officers and soldiers to ensure the successful completion of 2026 military and defense tasks.

The campaign focuses on three core areas: enhancing political awareness and responsibility, achieving high results in political tasks, and strengthening discipline and administrative reform. Key objectives include maintaining combat readiness, improving training quality—with a goal of 75% of results being rated as good or excellent—and managing discipline to keep violations below 0.2%.

Additionally, the forces will prioritize the “500-day campaign to promote the search, collection, and identification of martyrs' remains.” The program also emphasizes digital transformation, aiming for 100% of personnel to possess the digital skills necessary to function as “digital soldiers” by the end of 2026.
