An Trach authorities deliver new housing to impoverished family

In An Trach commune, Ca Mau province, local authorities and the Vietnam Fatherland Front have handed over a ‘Great Unity’ house to Hong Thi Khoa, a resident facing extreme poverty. The new 40-square-meter home was constructed with a total budget of over 150 million VND, funded by the ‘For the Poor’ Fund and contributions from relatives and community members.

Ms. Khoa, 67, serves as the primary caregiver for her mother, who is over 90 years old and bedridden due to a stroke. Previously, the family lived in a dilapidated structure with a leaking tin roof that posed significant risks during storms. The new residence provides a stable and secure living environment for the family.
