ANA and American Express announce first major credit card renewal since 2009

All Nippon Airways (ANA) and American Express International have announced the first comprehensive renewal of their co-branded credit card lineup since the partnership began in 2009. The update affects three card tiers: General, Gold, and Premium. All three cards will feature a new design inspired by the ANA aircraft tail fin.

The Gold and Premium tiers will introduce new bonus mile incentives based on annual spending. The Gold card will grant 15,000 bonus miles for spending 4 million yen or more annually, while the Premium card will offer 30,000 bonus miles for spending 6 million yen or more. Additionally, both tiers will provide unlimited free access to the Power Lounge Premium at Haneda Airport Terminal 2, including one free companion.

To support these enhanced benefits, annual fees for the Gold and Premium cards will increase. The Gold card fee will rise from 34,100 yen to 42,900 yen, and the Premium card fee will increase from 165,000 yen to 187,000 yen. The General card fee remains unchanged at 7,700 yen. Applications for the new cards are scheduled to open on September 2.
