Ana Brnabić frames upcoming Serbian elections as choice for development

Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabić has intensified her campaign ahead of upcoming parliamentary elections, framing the vote as a decisive choice between national development and political blockades.

During visits to Knjaževac, Resnik, and Borča, Brnabić emphasized that the upcoming elections are critical for Serbia’s future, specifically regarding wage growth, pensions, and infrastructure. She characterized the political landscape as a choice between the leadership of Aleksandar Vučić and the United Serbia party versus various opposition forces she described as ‘blockaders’.

Brnabić also issued a sharp critique of the organization CRTA. Responding to claims by CRTA’s program director, Raša Nedeljkov, regarding the timing and rules of the election call, Brnabić accused the organization of being unreliable. She argued that CRTA’s own research, which suggested a student-led list might lead in polls, contradicts their current criticism of the election scheduling, suggesting the organization is biased toward opposition interests.
