Ana Brnabić opens 13th Etno fest in Paraćin
Ana Brnabić, President of the National Assembly, opened the 13th Etno fest, titled ‘Tradition that Connects Us,’ in Paraćin. The festival is dedicated to preserving Serbian folk customs, traditional crafts, and cultural heritage, featuring artists, associations, and artisans from across the country.
During the event, Brnabić emphasized that economic progress and infrastructure investments must be accompanied by the careful preservation of inherited values. She highlighted the importance of supporting micro and small enterprises, as well as family businesses that maintain traditional skills.
Brnabić also noted regional developments in Paraćin, including road construction, school reconstruction, and the preservation of the Serbian Glass Factory and the completion of the Glass Museum. She cited economic growth in the area, noting that average wages in Paraćin rose from 309 euros in May 2012 to 825 euros in May 2024.
