ANA Group announces new names for consolidated cargo business

ANA Holdings has announced the new names for its consolidated cargo business, which is scheduled to merge three group companies on April 1, 2027. The new brand name will be ‘ANA Nippon Cargo’, to be introduced on the date of integration.

The merger involves ANA Cargo, Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA), and NCA Japan. While the brand name changes immediately upon integration, the corporate name will initially remain ‘Nippon Cargo Airlines’ to maintain its Air Operator Certificate (AOC). Following necessary regulatory approvals, the company plans to officially change its corporate name to ‘ANA Nippon Cargo Airlines Co., Ltd.’ during the second half of 2027.

The group stated that the new names reflect a commitment to ‘Nippon Quality’ and aim to combine the expertise and reliability of the three entities. The inclusion of ‘Cargo Airlines’ in the name is intended to clearly signal the company’s role as an operator responsible for its own aircraft, safety, and quality standards.
