ANA Holdings adds eight Embraer E190-E2 jets to fleet
ANA Holdings announced on July 29 that its board approved an order for eight additional Embraer E190‑E2 regional jets, raising its firm order count to 23 aircraft. The deal is valued at roughly US$642 million (¥105 billion) with deliveries planned for fiscal years 2029‑2032.
The new jets will be operated by regional partner IBEX Airlines under an ACMI agreement; ANA will retain responsibility for route planning, scheduling and ticket sales while IBEX will handle flight operations. Including five purchase options already secured, ANA could eventually operate up to 28 E190‑E2 jets.
The aircraft feature a 100‑seat cabin, Pratt & Whitney PW1900G engines and a range of about 5,278 km, supporting ANA’s strategy to build a sustainable regional aviation network in Japan.
