Bastian Schweinsteiger’s divorce from Ana Ivanović ends joint ad deals, ARD affirms his role

German football star Bastian Schweinsteiger and former tennis world No. 1 Ana Ivanović married in Venice in 2014 and announced their separation in July 2025. The couple had been prominent brand ambassadors for companies such as the German DIY chain toom and fashion label Brax. Following the split, those joint campaigns were discontinued. Ivanović continues solo sponsorships with UNICEF, Rolex, Schwarzkopf and Haier Europe, while Schweinsteiger signed new deals with Chinese smart‑home maker Dreame, outdoor gear brand Petromax, the video‑game Clash of Clans and McDonald’s Germany.

Schweinsteiger remains a regular football analyst for Germany’s public broadcaster ARD. ARD sports chief Harald Dietz said the divorce “was for us not a topic” and “had no impact on his performance,” reaffirming the network’s support. The pair share three sons born in 2018, 2019 and 2023.

Both parties have spoken publicly about the personal impact of the divorce, with Ivanović describing it as “the hardest and also the most beautiful teacher.”
