Tlaxcala: Political shifts and school year commencement

In Tlaxcala, Senator Ana Lilia Rivera Rivera stated that the citizens will determine the future direction of the state's political transformation. She emphasized that the people possess the intelligence to distinguish between different political projects and trajectories, noting that current decisions will have long-term consequences for the region.

Separately, the Tlaxcala State Public Education Secretariat (SEPE) reported that over 257,000 basic education students returned to classes for the 2026-2027 school year without incident. The agency confirmed that 15,046 teachers and over 8,800 support staff are active across 2,250 institutions. SEPE reiterated that no student can be denied enrollment or education due to unpaid fees or lack of uniforms.
