Ana Lucía Pineda seeks

Ana Lucía Pineda, the wife of Colombian President Abelardo de la Espriella, has expressed a preference for being recognized as a "gestora social" (social manager) rather than the traditional title of First Lady. Pineda stated, "I would like to be an active social manager, working for the women and children of Colombia," emphasizing a focus on community and welfare-oriented management.

A business administrator with a professional background in the private sector, Pineda previously supported the electoral campaign through initiatives such as the "Tigresas de la Patria" movement to mobilize female voters. Her social work includes providing aid to flood victims in the Córdoba department.

Among her stated priorities is the simplification of adoption procedures in Colombia to reduce bureaucratic obstacles for children seeking homes. During the presidential inauguration, Pineda drew attention for her choice of a dusty pink tailored suit, a color intended to project serenity and approachability.
