Ana María Vicente Osset arrested in France for MotoGP ticket fraud

Spanish and French police arrested Ana María Vicente Osset, known as “Anita la fantástica,” in Tours, France. The suspect is wanted under two European Arrest Warrants for allegedly defrauding more than 100 people of about €730,000 by selling fictitious travel packages and tickets for MotoGP events. She had been declared in rebellion after failing to appear at a Madrid court in May and was on the run since early 2024.

The arrest was carried out with cooperation from the Policía Nacional, the French Office Anti-Stupéfiants, and the European Fugitive Locator Network (ENFAST). Prosecutors had sought up to nine years’ imprisonment for Osset and a fine of nearly €3 million for her travel agency, Aupa Travel S.L., while also charging her husband, Eduardo G. U., with related fraud offenses.
