Brazilian presenter Ana Maria Braga revealed during her program, Mais Você, that she suffered a corneal fissure. She explained that the injury occurred after she slept with a hot air conditioning unit turned on during cold weather.

Braga reported waking up with intense pain and noted that the dry air caused her cornea to dry out. She advised viewers to use a humidifier in their bedrooms during the winter to prevent similar eye issues, emphasizing the sensitivity of the cornea to dryness. She confirmed that she received urgent medical attention from an ophthalmologist and was able to continue her broadcast.
