Ana-Marija Hrust represents Zagreb County in rural woman competition

Ana-Marija Hrust, a nurse and mother of three from Marija Gorica, is representing Zagreb County in the 26th Exemplary Croatian Rural Woman competition. The event is scheduled to take place on October 3 in Ilok.

Hrust and her husband established their own family farm approximately 18 months ago. The farm currently manages 85 head of cattle, including 50 milking cows, and utilizes modern technology such as robotic milking. They produce various dairy products, including fresh cheese, škripavac, yogurt, and cream, while also producing their own livestock feed.

In addition to managing approximately 30 hectares of agricultural land, Hrust is active in her local community as a member of the Bijela Gorica Volunteer Fire Department. The competition features a professional jury, and for the first time, a public vote will determine a winner.
