Ana Muratović shares journey of converting to Islam

Ana Muratović, raised in a Serbian Christian family in Novi Pazar, shared her journey of converting to Islam at the age of 20 in the program ‘Priče povratka’ on the IslamEdu platform.

Muratović stated that her spiritual questioning began at age 12 during the 1999 NATO bombings and her mother's serious illness. Although she attended church and religious education for four years, she felt she could not find the answers she sought. She noted that observing the peace and fulfillment in her Muslim friends' lives influenced her perspective. A turning point occurred following the sudden death of a school classmate, which prompted deeper reflection on her faith.
