Ana Navarro reveals attempt to pair Shakira and Ben Affleck

During an episode of The View, commentator Ana Navarro revealed that she previously attempted to arrange a romantic connection between Shakira and Ben Affleck.

Navarro explained that the idea arose while she was attending a Shakira concert in Miami, where Matt Damon was also present with his family. Given that Damon is a close friend of Affleck, Navarro sought his help to facilitate a meeting following the public news of Affleck’s separation from Jennifer Lopez and Shakira’s separation from Gerard Piqué.

However, Damon reportedly declined the suggestion, stating that such a pairing “could be complicated.” Panelist Alyssa Farah Griffin expressed skepticism regarding the match, suggesting that Affleck appeared “a little messy” from a dating perspective, while Whoopi Goldberg noted that the discussion was purely speculative.
