Ana Sánchez del Campo appointed Olympic sailing jury president for Los Angeles 2028

Ana Sánchez del Campo has been appointed by World Sailing as the President of the International Jury for the Olympic sailing competitions at the Los Angeles 2028 Games. This appointment marks her second time holding this top officiating role, following her work at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Sánchez del Campo will lead the international jury team to ensure the strict application of the Sailing Racing Rules during the competitions, which are scheduled to take place from July 14 to July 30, 2028, in Long Beach and the Port of Los Angeles. This appointment is among the first major official designations for the Los Angeles Games. Other key officials named include Chris Lindsay (Ireland) as Chief Umpire and Corinne Aubert (France) as PRO.
