Anadolu Aşiretler Federasyonu supports government family security initiatives

The Anadolu Aşiretler Federasyonu, an organization based in Iğdır with representatives in 60 provinces, has issued a statement supporting the Turkish government’s efforts regarding family security and its ‘Ailem Güvende’ (My Family is Safe) operations.

Federation President Ferhat Armağan expressed support for initiatives aimed at protecting children and strengthening the family structure. The federation characterized the LGBT movement as a threat to the family, society, and national security, describing it as a matter that undermines social unity and poses risks to morality.

Additionally, the federation has requested that the name of Pierre Loti Hill in Istanbul’s Eyüp Sultan district be changed to Idris-i Bitlisi, a historical scholar and hero, to better preserve common cultural memory.
