Anadolu Dostluk Rallisi Visits Selçuk, Engages Students in Cultural Exchange

A 40‑person international team took part in the Anadolu Dostluk Rallisi, also known as the East‑West Friendship & Silk Road Rally, which is supported by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the EU Presidency. Between 2 – 12 August 2026 the rally travelled from Istanbul to Ankara and stopped in Selçuk, İzmir Province.

In Selçuk the participants met students of İsabey Primary School. Local education officials, including M. Halis Demir, the branch manager of the Selçuk District National Education Directorate, welcomed the visitors. The event emphasized cultural interaction, allowing students to learn about the participants’ diverse cultures and to develop an international outlook. Photographs were taken to commemorate the meeting, and the local director thanked all stakeholders for making the program possible.
