Anadolu University adds 15 AI and digital media programs

Anadolu University announced the launch of 15 new associate‑ and bachelor‑level programmes for the 2026‑2027 academic year, covering artificial intelligence, data science, software development, digital media and game design. The university set aside 990 seats for the programmes and expects to admit around 3,000 students this year, with roughly one‑third enrolling in the new tracks.

New offerings include Front‑End Software Development, Back‑End Software Development, Big Data Analytics, Game Development, Digital Game Design, and a fully English‑taught Data Science and Analytics programme. Two additional open‑learning programmes – AI‑Supported Coding and Data Visualisation & Information Design – will also admit students for the first time. Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Adıgüzel said the curriculum updates aim to align higher education with the digital transformation of the labour market and to prepare graduates for emerging occupations.
