The National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) has issued a warning regarding fraudulent websites that are impersonating the institution to steal sensitive data. These malicious sites target taxpayers to collect personal identification numbers (CNP), home addresses, email addresses, bank account details, and information regarding monthly income or account balances.

ANAF advises citizens to avoid filling out forms on unofficial platforms and warns against installing any applications requested by individuals claiming to represent the agency. For secure communication, the agency recommends using the free Virtual Private Space (SPV) service.

Individuals who have accidentally accessed these fraudulent sites or provided sensitive information are urged to contact the relevant authorities and their banks immediately if they suspect their banking data has been compromised. The agency is currently collaborating with competent institutions to combat these fraudulent activities.
