Anagenisi Karditsa faces administrative limbo ahead of Super League 2 season

In early July the General Assembly of Greece’s Super League 2 was held and the league’s licensing committee will soon receive clubs’ participation declarations. Anagenisi Karditsa submitted a detailed proposal on Thursday regarding the format of the upcoming championship, with a decision expected on 15 July. No further development has been reported and the club’s administrative situation remains unclear.

Owner Odysseas Papadimitriou has exhausted all available time to assume control after his June statement, but no serious interest from other parties has emerged. The team must now quickly organise its roster, appoint a coaching staff and plan pre‑season training, as the Greek Cup obligations begin on 11 August. The administrative clock is running out for the club.
