Çanakkale Bienali to host 10th edition in 2026

The 10th edition of the Çanakkale Bienali is scheduled to take place from October 10 to November 20, 2026. Under the theme ‘Metcezir // Ebb & Flow’, the event will feature works from over 60 artists from Turkey and various international locations, including the Netherlands, Germany, South Korea, the United Kingdom, China, Romania, France, and Belgium.

The exhibition spaces will span a wide geographic area, stretching from the ancient site of Troy to the city center of Çanakkale. The theme focuses on the movement of water, the ancient memory of the earth, and the transformative power of time. This edition marks a significant milestone for the Çanakkale Bienali Initiative (CABININ), which is celebrating 20 years of cultural and artistic accumulation.

The event is supported by major partners such as Dardanel and Kale Grubu – Kale Tasarım ve Sanat Merkezi, alongside collaborations with Çanakkale Municipality, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, and the Troy Excavation Presidency.
