Çanakkale traffic accident kills two young people

Two young individuals, driver Efehan Uzkuç and passenger Efe Serin, died following a severe traffic accident at the entrance to Çanakkale. The incident occurred around 02:00 near the Organize Sanayi Junction as the vehicle was traveling from Lapseki toward Çanakkale.

The vehicle, driven by Uzkuç, reportedly lost control for unknown reasons and struck an electric pole in the median. The impact was so violent that the car split into two pieces and was dragged for several meters. Emergency services, including police, gendarmerie, and medical teams, responded to the scene, but both occupants were pronounced dead at the site.

Funeral services for the victims have been organized in Umurbey and at the Dumlupınar Mosque. Local authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.
