Analía Franchín shares emotional testimony on television

During a broadcast of the program ‘A la Barbarossa’ on Telefe, television personality Analía Franchín became visibly emotional while listening to testimony regarding the health of musician Pity Álvarez.

Silvina, the sister of Pity Álvarez, described a recent incident where she found her brother having seizures in his courtyard. She noted that these episodes occur frequently and that the musician is often unaware of them, sometimes waking up with unexplained bruises.

The account prompted Franchín to share her personal experience with her late sister, Sandra, who passed away in June 2024 after a long struggle with drug addiction and health complications. Franchín expressed the emotional difficulty of witnessing a loved one in such a state and admitted to feeling guilt for having wished for her sister's passing to end her suffering.
