Analogue announces Super Nt+ and Mega Sg+ retro consoles

Analogue Super Nt+ Analogue Mega Sg+ FPGA retro consoles retro gaming hardware Sega Genesis compatibility

Analogue has announced the release of the Super Nt+ and Mega Sg+, updated versions of its high-end retro gaming consoles. Both devices are designed to play original physical cartridges for Super Nintendo (and Super Famicom) and Sega Genesis (and Mega Drive) using FPGA technology to replicate original hardware logic without software emulation.

The new models introduce several hardware and usability upgrades over their predecessors. Key improvements include USB-C power delivery, a USB-A port for peripherals or DAC connections, and integrated wireless support via Bluetooth and 2.4GHz connectivity. Users can now manage power through their controllers and perform hot-swapping of cartridges via the system menu without a full reboot.

Both consoles support 1080p HDMI output. The Super Nt+ is compatible with over 2,200 titles, while the Mega Sg+ supports more than 2,180 titles, including compatibility for Master System and Game Gear via adapters. Pre-orders are scheduled to begin on October 19, 2026, with shipping expected to start in December 2026. Each unit is priced at $219.99.
