Analogue Automotive completes first VHPK Lotus Elise restomod

Analogue Automotive has completed the first customer version of its VHPK, a heavily modified Series 1 Lotus Elise. The vehicle features a central driving position inspired by single-seat racing Elises and is limited to 35 individually numbered units worldwide.

Starting at £350,000 plus taxes, the price includes the original Series 1 Elise donor vehicle. The restomod focuses on extreme weight reduction, replacing original fiberglass bodywork with carbon-fibre components—including the clamshells, doors, bonnet, and engine cover—manufactured using CNC-milled patterns. This brings the total wet weight to under 600kg.

The car is powered by a bespoke, naturally aspirated 1.9-litre version of the K-series engine, producing 250bhp. This results in a power-to-weight ratio of 400bhp per tonne. Mechanical upgrades include a Quaife PG1 five-speed close-ratio manual gearbox, a limited-slip differential, and upgraded T45 rose jointed wide-track suspension.
