Analogue Solutions introduces Series 700 modular synthesizer

Analogue Solutions has released the Series 700 modular synthesizer, designed to replicate the rare and highly sought-after Roland System 700. The original Roland system is considered a premium professional tool that can fetch over £150,000 on the second-hand market, though complete systems are extremely difficult to find.

The Series 700 aims to match the original design, look, and layout as closely as possible, utilizing custom-made knobs, slider caps, switches, and potentiometers. While the internal circuitry has been updated to accommodate modern components due to the discontinuation of original parts, the circuits were reproduced from original schematics to maintain the intended sound. The only functional deviation from the original specification is the addition of a basic single-channel MIDI to CV converter for sequencer syncing.

Unlike the original, which is often sold in incomplete sets, the Series 700 is supplied as complete systems, though users have the option to purchase individual blocks to expand their setup or fill gaps in existing systems.
