Anambra State importers launch campaign against substandard goods
The Importers Association of Nigeria, Anambra State branch, has launched a renewed campaign to combat the influx of substandard and adulterated products within the state.
During a stakeholders sensitization seminar in Awka, Obinna Moluokwu, the state Director-General of IMAN, announced that the association is collaborating with the Anambra State Ministry of Commerce. This partnership aims to ensure that imported goods are genuine and to prevent the state from being used as a dumping ground for fake products. The initiative is intended to support safe commerce, competitiveness, and economic growth in alignment with the African Continental Free Trade Area.
