Anambra State leaders engage in religious and social affairs

Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo has extended congratulations to Bishop Paulinus Chukwuemeka Ezeokafor of the Awka Diocese on his 74th birthday. Soludo praised the Bishop as a moral voice and a consistent advocate for peace and development within the state.

Separately, Archbishop Alexander Ibezim of the Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger has called on Governor Soludo to provide partial or total sponsorship for pilgrims from Anambra State. During a meeting with the governor’s senior special assistant on pilgrim affairs, Odira Ezeh, Ibezim suggested that government support for pilgrimages could enhance spiritual well-being and revive the religious tourism sector amidst current economic and security challenges.
